Where your decisions live

The desk does the work on its own. What it cannot do is decide, and everything waiting on you sits in four known places.

This product is not trying to fill your day. Most of what it does happens while you are somewhere else, and what it needs from you is a handful of small decisions. Knowing where those live is the difference between five minutes a day and an hour of patrolling.

The four places

  • Mail, To-dos. The messages genuinely waiting on you, rather than everything that arrived. This is your inbox with the noise taken out.
  • Outreach, Today. The tab Outreach opens on, and it holds only what needs a decision: replies to deal with, sequences ready to start, anything paused.
  • Agents. Tells you when new buyers have landed for review, and when replies are waiting on one of them.
  • Opportunities, Catch up. The conversations you reopened that have gone quiet again, with how many days it has been.

The habit that works

Open the app. Clear To-dos. Walk Outreach Today. That is the whole routine, and on most days it is over in a few minutes. Everything else in the app is reading rather than deciding, and reading can wait for a moment when you want it.

The two other tabs are there when you want to look rather than act. In flight shows each buyer’s next step and when it is due, which is the answer to “is anything actually happening”. Leads is everything your agents have found, including what you have not reviewed yet.

What never waits silently

A buyer’s reply stops their sequence immediately, so a decision you have not made yet cannot turn into an email you did not want sent. Nothing goes out because you were slow. The worst case of leaving the app alone for a week is that a week of follow ups did not go out, and everything is exactly where you left it.

Next: What happens when a buyer replies

Still stuck? Write to hello@oleadesk.com and a person answers, usually the founder, within one business day. Say what you were doing, what you expected, and what happened instead. Inside the app, Settings has a Get help box that sends the same message with the diagnostics attached.
