OleaDesk

Status

What can break, and how you’d know.

We don’t have an automated status dashboard yet, so rather than show you a green tick that nobody is checking, here is what actually depends on us.

Your inbox
Reading, searching and sending your mail
Depends on

Runs entirely on your machine against your own mail provider.

If it fails

Unaffected by anything on our side. If mail stops, the problem is your provider or your connection.

AI features
Drafting, summaries, catch-up, agent writing
Depends on

Our relay, and the AI provider behind it.

If it fails

The one thing an outage here touches. The app tells you the AI could not be reached; nothing is lost and nothing sends.

Outreach sending
Sequences going out on schedule
Depends on

Your own machine and your own mail server.

If it fails

Sends while OleaDesk is running. Quitting from the tray stops it, and that is by design. The app says so.

Agents
Weekly buyer research
Depends on

Our servers.

If it fails

A failed run means no new buyers that week. Nothing already found is lost.

Because your mail is local, most outages aren’t ours

This is the practical upside of a local-first product. Your inbox, your drafts and your sequences live on your computer, so if our servers vanished tomorrow you would still be able to read and answer your mail. The AI would stop, and the agents would stop. Nothing else would.

Something wrong right now?

Email hello@oleadesk.com. From inside the app, Settings → Help & diagnostics → Save report writes a file to your Desktop with the version, your system and the recent activity log, with every email address replaced by a placeholder, so sending it never shares your contacts.
